Baptism is the first of seven sacraments and the way in which a person becomes a member of the Catholic Church.  It is a Sacrament of Initiation and allows the sanctifying grace of God to enter one's soul. Canon Law teaches that parents have an obligation to have their children baptized and it should be done within “the first few weeks of birth.”

To assure that those involved in a child's baptism understand the importance of what they are asking of the Church, parents are required to meet with a Church representative prior to the baptism.  It is recommended that a meeting be scheduled as soon as the parents find out they are expecting a child in order to allow ample time of preparation before the arrival of the child.

Please complete the Baptism Registration Form below; you may mail or email the form to us. Once received, the form will be forwarded to Andrew Zeisel, our Discipleship Director, and he will contact you to discuss the next step.

"It happened in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized in the Jordan by John. On coming out of the water, he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit, like a dove, descending upon him. And a voice came down from the heavens, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased." Mark 1: 9-11
